Dashboard

Use this endpoint to unmask a customer's sensitive PII data.

Unmask customer data

Primary address line (e.g., street, PO Box).

Secondary address line (e.g., apartment, suite, unit, or building).

City, district, suburb, town, or village.

Date of birth for individual customers in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD). This data is required to trigger Patriot Act compliant KYC verification. Required if SSN is provided. Only valid where customer type is 'individual'.

Full 9-digit Employer Identification Number for businesses. This data is required to trigger Patriot Act compliant KYB verification. Only valid where customer type is 'business'.

Two-letter abbreviation of the state where the business was originally registered.

Full 9-digit Social Security Number or government identifier for individuals. This data is required to trigger Patriot Act compliant KYC verification. Required if DOB is provided. Only valid where customer type is 'individual'.

Timestamp of when the customer record was created.

Unique identifier for the customer in your database, used for cross-referencing between Straddle and your systems.

Full name of the individual or business name.

The customer's phone number in E.164 format.

Timestamp of the most recent update to the customer record.

The customer's IP address at the time of profile creation. Use '0.0.0.0' to represent an offline customer registration.

Specific message regarding this exact request.

Array of error objects with more specific details.

Predefined general type of error (e.g. '/field_validation')

Detailed description of the specific error.

Identifier for the error (e.g., field name, error code).

Unique identifier for this API request, useful for troubleshooting.

Timestamp for this API request, useful for troubleshooting.

Retrieves the unmasked details, including PII, of an existing customer. Supply the unique customer ID that was returned from your 'create customer' request, and Straddle will return the corresponding customer information. This endpoint needs to be enabled by Straddle and should only be used when absolutely necessary.

Creates a new linked bank account for a Straddle account. This endpoint allows you to associate external bank accounts with a Straddle account for various payment operations such as payment deposits, payout withdrawals, and more.

Retrieves the details of a linked bank account that has previously been created. Supply the unique linked bank account ID, and Straddle will return the corresponding information. The response includes masked account details for security purposes.

Retrieve linked bank account details

Updates an existing linked bank account's information. This can be used to update account details during onboarding or to update metadata associated with the linked account. The linked bank account must be in 'created' or 'onboarding' status.

Update a linked bank account

Retrieves the unmasked details of a linked bank account that has previously been created. Supply the unique linked bank account ID, and Straddle will return the corresponding information, including sensitive details. This endpoint requires additional authentication and should be used with caution.

Retrieve unmasked linked bank account details

Retrieves a list of capability requests associated with an account. The requests are returned sorted by creation date, with the most recent requests appearing first. This endpoint supports filtering options to help you track the status of various capability requests.
